Register now for the COMET VI meeting in Amsterdam, 10-11 November 2016
The COMET Initiative is working to improve the quality of health care by facilitating the preparation of core outcome sets which could be used in research, including randomised trials and systematic reviews, in a specific topic area. The sixth COMET meeting will be held in Amsterdam on 10-11 November 2016. The programme will provide opportunities for individuals interested in the development and application of core outcome sets across different areas of health and social care to share ideas and learn more. We are excited to announce Maarten de Wit (VU University Medical Centre) as a confirmed speaker, who will be sharing his experience and talking about the issue of patient participation in consensus meetings.
Registration for the meeting is free and is now open, but the number of spaces is limited. This may mean that registration will have to close before November, so we encourage early registration to avoid disappointment. More details and registration details can be found at http://www.comet-initiative.org/meeting. We also invite abstracts for presentation from delegates: http://www.comet-initiative.org/meeting/abstractsubmission. Abstracts can relate to planned, ongoing or completed work. Topics of interest include but are not limited to the development of a core outcome set, patient involvement, and uptake/implementation of a core outcome set. The deadline for abstract submission is the 19th August.
